How Do We Do It? Project workflow is the framework for the accurate and fast translation/localization. It is the basis for effective collaboration of all people involved into the mission of delivering final project result to the client.
All the way throughout this process, we utilize TOTAL QUALITY APPROACH, which means all persons in the process are obliged to deliver their work to the next step in the final form, linguistically, culturally and technically complete. Thanks to this method, we push the quality level higher and higher every step on the way, so that at the end, we and the client are sure that the due care was taken of even the smallest detail and that all the possible problem points were resolved. Below, you will find the outline of our translation process. Client sends the project to project manager (PM).- The project is reviewed, any potential initial queries are resolved together with the client.
- Glossary of terms is compiled, all possible reference material is gathered and the instructions file is created.
- PM sends the file and accompanying material (glossaries, reference files, instructions) to translator.
- Translator delivers completed job together with any queries (e.g. terminology questions, notes about possible source text errors etc.) to PM.
- PM sends the file and queries to editor.
- Editor resolves the queries (if they have not been resolved during translation) together with PM and the client, checks the files, implements the results of query resolution process and delivers checked translation to PM.
- PM makes final amendments (another spell, tagging and formatting check) and delivers the file to client.
